Woot Woot! People who help the homeless with their skilled hands and yarn make me smile. Thank you Annemarie from New York, once again for your thoughtfulness with the vast donation of crocheted goodies. If you've been reading this blog while you know Annemarie is a wonderful supportor giving us her time and talent.
These has, slippers, scarves, and mittens will put many smiles on faces of people less fortunate then us. We physical warm people with our crafted donations certainly. But, we also warm their souls when they know someone they didn't know took time to hand make something special for them.
Please keep up the good work!
Though it is spring (and now the font changes back?), it is still cold here many days and nights. Sitting inside right now with cold feet and a fleece on if that gives you any ideas. Donations are still needed. So thanks to all whom are keeping their yarn and hands busy.
As some of your know I recently returned from a trip abroad, first ever! Hubby and I were fortunate enough to travel to Spain. It was truly an awesome experience. Love to share it all with you, and am blogging about it everyday this month (May) on Traveling Suitcase. Come explore with me, travel virtually while you knit and crochet.

Lola Talking Scarves
Perhaps you all saw this some time back on the Lion Brand Web Site...they always have cute Lola cartoons. The idea behind this is
Mish Mosh. Now I don't think this scarf is a good idea for homeless, remember they don't like to call attention to themselves, so bright colors aren't the best ideas, nor are alot of stripes...plus solids go better with 99.9% of everything, be it for a women, a child, or an adult male. But, perhaps the idea has some merit...if you're trying to use up some odds and ends, you might do blocks with a variety of stitches....??Personally, don't think I would be comfortable wearing something like this that isn't going to go with anything...but I wondered whatyou all thought of the idea behind it?

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
