9 pairs of ladies gloves
1-25 loomed hats
26-50 loomed hats
26 pairs of cute little gloves.
Are you guessing yet who this donation came from? If you've spent much time here, looking and reading, I bet you are. Yep, it's our good friend Frank The Luscious Loomer and his wonderful wife Karen. What a fantastic dynamic duo they make. Frank has been busy knitting his hats on his speedy looms again. Look at the colors!
The gloves, a surprise and a bonus with a fun story behind them. Frank and Karen were in need of boxes for packing things up to move. Finding some boxes they could use in a dumpster was nice; but they also found these lovely, never been worn gloves and greeting cards!! Someone must have cleaned house and dump them. So, being perfectly good; we will get them to cold hands in need. Many thanks Karen and Frank for taking the time to send these when you're obviously busy packing to move. Packing to move is not an easy job, pace yourself and don't over do.
Many thanks Karen and Frank for your ongoing support of the cause of warming the needy and homeless here in Central Ohio with your hand knitted items! We appreciate all your donations.

Frank the Luscious Loomer, Hats for Homeless Galore!
70 wonderful, warm, and fun hats from Frank The Luscious Loomer and Karen. Always so fun to open a box of goodies from Frank and Karen. Lots of different colors, solids stripes and patterns galore! Hugs for your ongoing support for the cause. These fabulous hats will make such a positive difference in so many lives. These knitted hats have been divided between the kids treated at the 2 free clinics, and those living in temporary housing at The Mission. I was able to select some of the larger hats for the men living under The Bridge as well. 70 heads will now be warmer, and 70 people will know they are not forgotten; they are indeed cared for....They DO MATTER. Giving hope is priceless folks.
Thank you again Frank and Karen. Keep up the good work.
Today is the last day folks to get your mittens in the mail for the Mitten Challenge. I'll give a few days for the mail to be delivered and announce the winner on Friday. Thanks again Beth for the idea of the challenge, and for writing up a new pattern. To date, mittens have been received from 9 people (Sarah S., James, Linda in Florida, Sacha, Nelda, Bunny, Sandie, Ruth, and myself).

The Luscious Loomer Did it Again!
*****Only 1 post left before we see who the winner of the contest is, but YOU still have time to enter, CLICK TO READ HOW*****
Dear Dear Sweet Fabulous Frank, otherwise known as "The Luscious Loomer" did it again. Hats, hats, HaTs. Pick a color any color. Frank and his fabulous fingers make that loom zoom.
Lots of great colors too for the guys. I'll divide this up between the 2 free clinics for the kids.
We will be sending some to The Mission. Just recently, we've learned there's a huge need for families in temporary housing who would otherwise be homeless. The Mission houses mothers and children who were/are homeless; as well as some who've been abused. I can wear most of these hats so I know they will fit the teens, and some smaller women as well.
I'm pleased to say we're listed in a few more places and so word is indeed spreading father. The good news is that means more folks are helping us. The more who help us, the more we can help. It feels so good to be able to help someone. Many of us perhaps don't have the ability to make the mounds that our friend, Frank does; but we all do have the ability to help one item at a time. No donation is too small. Please remember we help, one stitch at a time, one item at a time, one person at a time. The one item you make DOES make a difference!
Keep up the good work one and all.

HATS of many Hues for Homeless
This is post #186(only 14 post left before we hit 200 when the winner of the blog contest will be announced)
Our luscious loomer comes through again with flying colors! Look at these wonderful wonderful hats. Solids, varigated, ton tones....Frank's knitted on his faster than the speed of light looms again. WOW, he leaves me speechless. The larger hats will go directly to our folks under the bridge while the others will be divided to keep kids and their moms warm at the 2 free clinics.
I feel like cheering. Frank Frank he's own man, if he can't do it, nobody can! Ok, I know corny cheer like that show how old I am; but seriously if I could do a handstand or a cartwheel or anything along those lines; I would indeed be cheering. Kids, Moms, and the homeless men under the bridge will all benefit from Franks fabulous hats.
HUGS and many many thanks Frank. Keep up the good work, it is so truly appreciated.
***Don't forget about the contest, help us celebrate a milestone. We're counting down to hitting milestone of 200 blog posts. We're giving away free yarn. You can't win, if you don't enter. Read how to enter HERE, and get busy. Time's a tickin.

50 Fabulous hats from our Dear Dear Frank and Karen. Look at the variety in colors. I've separated these in bags marked girls and boys to help when they're distributed at the clinics for those kids so in need (and their Moms). If you've not read about this before, Frank is Karen's husband (see link in sidebar to her wonderful blog). Frank is a luscious loomer. hehe Karen, tell Frank I just gave him a nickname. lol
You can see one of the smaller hats on Susie sitting next to our Stella who's modeling a multi-colored blue hat she was particularly fond of.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
