Every now and then you see examples of things people posts as the ugliest thing to do with yarn, or what not to do with yarn..........the title under this was pajamas. Not making a statement about the guys here, this was on a crochet site. I can't even imagine dressing a little wee one in p.j.'s like this, lol
Don't try this at home, PLEASE use your yarn wisely! Though they are colorful....seriously this is the worst thing I've think I've ever seen as an example of what not to do with yarn, your time...
What say you?

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

WHAT WAS THAT OLD SAYING "IF YOU CANT SAY SOMETHING NICE DONT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL?"
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful sunny day here today. Got work done in the yard, and am really starting to see a beauitfull improvement there. The rain we have gotten is helping everything although I have really had enough. It seems like everytime we get a beautiful day like this it is followed by a big long rain;we are to get rain off and on for the rest of the week.:+) GOD BLESS THE HOMELESS. marj in minnesota
I hear ya Marj, we had 3 times yesterday and then again some time during the night...not sure what's in store for today, but it's not sunny and pretty, it's still over cast, gray, and really really damp. The picture...well, I just couldn't resists, lol truly never seen anything like it at all.
DeleteHa! Will you stop being my friend if I say I actually kind of like the pants?!
ReplyDeleteLOL, hey Brandy, I actually stared at it awhile and thought well maybe the top with black pants?
DeleteAll I can say is "oh my gosh!!"
ReplyDeletebetty
OH my gosh is right Betty. I wasn't sure it was real the first time I saw it, thought maybe someone had done some really fancy photoshop something, but then when I saw it was actually on a real crochet site, I was dumbfounded.
DeleteThis is some yucky way to use your yarn!!!! We have much better ways to use our yarn.
ReplyDeleteYucky....perfect word and I soooooooo agree about better ways to use our yarn. Thank you Sherry, always appreciate seeing you here.
DeleteEveryone has their own likes and dislikes. They are pajamas so no one will see them..unless they are those people who goes out in their pjs..Different fashion statement for sure :).
ReplyDeleteYou are doing such an awesome job!

Thank you for the visit and comment, both are appreciated and right you are, they won't be seen.
DeleteSORRY SANDY didnt mean you I meant me. I couldnt think of anything nice to say and so I figured I better not say anything at all. It reminds me of a sweater I made my husband one time.It was horrible and I thought he knew it. Then I came home from work one day and found out he had worn it out of the house and nearly died of embarrasment. Got rid of it quickly. These PJs are really horrible, and I cant think of any man I know that would be caught dead. But you never know. If my husband thought that awful sweater was ok, maybe these guys think they look cute too.One mans treasure.........marj in minnesota
ReplyDeleteNo need for apology, I knew exactly what you meant. Cute story about your hubby and the sweater.
DeleteOh my...this is not a good look. I wonder how much they were paid to try these on?
ReplyDeleteLOL..there were several comments asking the same thing Birgit when I saw this picture posted on the crochet site.
DeleteThose are sure different. I don't know anyone who would wear them, but I am sure there are people who would wear them.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine who would wear them either, lol
DeleteI showed it to my husband and asked "Want one of these?" He looked at it, looked at me and simply said "No." LOL This was not a surprise.
ReplyDeleteLOL...I hear ya Sandie
