Crocheted Colorful Scarves are Donated

Thank you for this thoughtful donation of nice warm scarves.  These crocheted colorful scarves are a mystery to me.  This is one of the donations I don't have a note to match up.  If you've been reading off and on the last week or so, you know I picked a bad time to clean off my desk.  Being busy with extra hours at work, being busy with the holidays is not the time to clean off ones desk.  I've lost a note and don't know who the kind soul was that donated these scarves.  Could someone please sing out and let me know.

Edited to add the names of the 3 ladies who donated these items, thanks Kate, Laura, and Wendy for the donation and for singing out  to let me know, much appreciated.

I did find some notebooks that will come in handy while doing some desk cleaning, but the job is not complete even as we speak....see me rollin my eyes.

End of year totals not to far off, so please keep checking in.

Mittens and Slippers for People in Need

An awesome donation of slippers and mittens.  Wonderfully made, tagged with sizes...that always makes my day folks.  Due to a recent cleaning off of my desk, some notes have been jumbled, and a couple lost, so am not 100% positive, but believe this wonderful donation is from Judy C.  Judy if you're out there, can you confirm this for me please?  Or whomever else is reading the post, if this donation is yours...please let me know.

Cleaning off the desk, holidays, working extra hours aren't a good combination it seems.  Sorry folks to have jumbled a few donations up, and am hopeful someone out there will be able to set me staight.

Please keep up the good work, these mittens and slippers are all knitted.  I love the variety of sizes, and colors.  Those receiving these items will be so very appreciative.

End of year totals not to far off, so please keep checking in.

Helping Ohio's Homeless

Thank you Gail B for this thoughtful donation.  Sorry it's not a good picture folks.  It was such a dreary dark day even with lights on inside I couldn't get the colors to show up well.  That hats and scarves did have some nice dark colors which I always love for the adults.

Gail's included some personal care items along with her crocheted hats and scarves.

Thank you Gail for your on going support and caring for Ohio's Homeless in Need.

Donations Help many Homeless

Thank yiou Tristi for the awesome donation and for taking the time to drop it off on my door step.  Love the variety of the doantion of hats, slippers, socks, cotton cloths and socks. Also love how you've tagged all the hats with size.

Thank you for your on going support and please keep up the good work.  Each hat you make keeps a head warm, and keeping a head warm, feet warm and dry is essential.  Folks, as I type this post it's only 48 degrees inside my house.  It's cold.  Our furnace picked a bad wkend to decide not to work.  The repair is expected momentarily........but, if I'm this cold in doors, think of those folks less fortunate then me.  Think of those living in the elements, in the shelters.  Truly is mind boggling.  I know I'll be warm again in short order, they don't have that luxury.

Keep your yarn close at hand folks and know that each item you make truly makes a difference.

End of year totals not to far off, so please keep checking in.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
