Crocheted Hats Make Their Mark in Ohio all the Way From Minnesota

Thank you Judy C for this thoughtful donation of crocheted hats to warm heads in need.  Judy has crocheted 9 hats, with a variety of sizes, colors, and styles.  Something to warm lots of different sized heads!  She also tagged each hat with the size.  I list that as something everyone should do, but sometimes people don't.  Tagging with size helps ensure the donated item reaches the right people.  So thank you Judy C from Minnesota for taking the time to tag your hats with the size.  Much appreciated by me, and even more so from the various volunteers at the shelters.

Just is our newest pair of helping hands.  We're so happy to have you join us and look forward to seeing you often on Bridge and Beyond.  Please keep up the good work Judy, and know that you have made an important difference in the lives of 9 people.

Thank you!

Mittens and Slippers for People in Need

An awesome donation of slippers and mittens.  Wonderfully made, tagged with sizes...that always makes my day folks.  Due to a recent cleaning off of my desk, some notes have been jumbled, and a couple lost, so am not 100% positive, but believe this wonderful donation is from Judy C.  Judy if you're out there, can you confirm this for me please?  Or whomever else is reading the post, if this donation is yours...please let me know.

Cleaning off the desk, holidays, working extra hours aren't a good combination it seems.  Sorry folks to have jumbled a few donations up, and am hopeful someone out there will be able to set me staight.

Please keep up the good work, these mittens and slippers are all knitted.  I love the variety of sizes, and colors.  Those receiving these items will be so very appreciative.

End of year totals not to far off, so please keep checking in.

Clapping for Mittens from the State of Pennsylvania

I'm sooooooooooooo excited with this fantastic mound of mittens!  These are beautifully knitted, soft, thick, warm, paired and tagged male and female.  Please join me and thank our good friend, Judy C from Pennsylvania for this donation of 55 pairs of mittens!!!  Nice dark colors for men........ and a nice variety of colors for women.  Judy you are AWESOME!!

There are 36 pairs for the men, which is wonderful; as they are the largest group living outdoors.  These mittens have a nice long stretchy cuff to aid in it's warmth factor.  Judy please let us know which pattern you used.  I really want to pass this information along.  Some of you may remember, we lost our mitten page on a day when I was trying to do an edit and blogger wasn't working well.  I am in need of posting some good patterns for both knitted and crocheted mitttens.

Keep up the good work.

Today is the first day of June......our focus is slippers.  Please check the details in the slipper tab for size, color, fiber information.  Please remember to attach your pairs and label with size.

The MotherLoad of Mittens

WOW! 50 pairs of beautifully knit mittens from Judy C. from Pennsylvania. Look at the wonderful variety of sizes and colors she provided us. A very special thank you too Judy for labeling them so nicely for me. I greatly appreciate that. She has them labeled by size, adult, child etc., and has them attached to each other. Fabulous all the way around. Thank you Judy, our newest pair of helping hands for your beautiful work. Hope to see you here often on Bridge and Beyond.
Wanted to take a 2nd photo so you could see some of the mittens close up. They truly are awesome!

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
