Falling Leaves Design

I'm calling this afghan design, Falling Leaves. My hope is to have enough green or orange to edge and join...or at least that's my thoughts as this stage of the game.

I still have plenty of squares to use to design more afghans, but for now those to date fill my shelf space. I will at a later time design again, but need to start concentrating on putting some of these together. Stay tuned.

Remember, back a few posts I've mentioned a major design fest here in my living room. You should be seeing lots of your squares folks here, and in previous posts, as well as in upcoming posts. Did you miss them? Scroll back and see if you can identify some of yours. PLEASE PLEASE make a point to read the change in policy regarding knitting/crocheting and donating squares. Purple Passion Afghan Design

I'm thinking Purple Passion should be the name of this afghan. What do you think? It's many shades of purple, violets with some green and brown. Might edge and join in off white? As always it depends on my stash assortment of color when the time comes.

I still have plenty of designs to share with you. Remember, back a few posts I've mentioned a major design fest here in my living room. **You're probably understanding why I've not called for squares, given the number I have, and hopefully also understanding why I need to simplify things with the new requirements of only accepting squares, not rectangles and only at certain times, and only 1 size (8 x 8).**

Springtime Design

So far the name that popped into my head for this afghan design is Springtime....is that lame? Got another idea? The blues and yellows made me think that. Depending what I do with some other designs I may or may not have blue and or yellow to edge and join this afghan with. Maybe even dark green? Only time will tell. Are you looking through all these afghans recently designed and finding your squares and rectangles? I hope so.

I still have plenty of designs to share with you. Remember, back a few posts I've mentioned a major design fest here in my living room. Pastel Garden Afghan Design

Right after designing this and photographing this, I decided to remove the teddy bear square in the upper right corner. It's part of Wee Irish if you'll remember. The idea hit me as I was getting ready to label and bag these squares. So I figured I didn't need to take another picture. I would know the one square not pictured would be in it's place. I'm hoping I have enough light green to edge and join this afghan.

I still have plenty of designs to share with you. Remember, back a few posts I've mentioned a major design fest here in my living room. Rust Can be Pretty

When I think of the word Rust, I think of old, worn out or in need of work. Well this afghan design isn't old, or worn out, though it does need work, lol. It needs edged and joined. That word though was the first that popped into my head. Remember I told you I was designing like a mad man for a couple of days. So, unless someone comes up with a better name for this one...and I'm open to that; this one will be named Rust.
I still have plenty of designs to share with you. Remember, back a few posts I've mentioned a major design fest here in my living room. Purple Mountain Majesty

I've tried to match this camo tan yarn up with several previous afghan designs and just couldn't get firmly behind it. But.........here now, I believe is a match. I think this camo tan donated yarn will work really well with this afghan, I've named Purple Mountain Majesty. Who see's some of their squares here?

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
