So far the name that popped into my head for this afghan design is Springtime....is that lame? Got another idea? The blues and yellows made me think that. Depending what I do with some other designs I may or may not have blue and or yellow to edge and join this afghan with. Maybe even dark green? Only time will tell. Are you looking through all these afghans recently designed and finding your squares and rectangles? I hope so.
I still have plenty of designs to share with you. Remember, back a few posts I've mentioned a major design fest here in my living room. You should be seeing lots of your squares folks here, and in previous posts, as well as in upcoming posts. Did you miss them? Scroll back and see if you can identify some of yours. PLEASE PLEASE make a point to read the change in policy regarding knitting/crocheting and donating squares. Click HERE, or refer to the squares tab on the top of the blog.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

WOW Sandy, you have been busy playing with all the squares. Those squares make such interesting afghan when you put them together. All the afghans you have made in the last few weeks will sure keep lots of folks warm this winter.
ReplyDeleteBlue and yellow makes me think of Irises. How about that for a name?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like most of these squares are about the same size. I bet that makes your job much easier when you put them together.
Thanks ladies for the visits and comments, both are greatly appreciated. Iris...love the name, but I think purple, guess cause I have purple iris in the yard, lol. Will give that some thought, tis indeed a more intersting name then springtime.
ReplyDeleteRight you are Sue, these squares are much closer to the same size then some of the other designs. But, in general most have about 3 different sizes involved.
