Look at this pretty blue and pastel yellow lapghan our friend, Karen S crocheted. Isn't it pretty! Please click so you can see the texture created with the stitches she's chosen. The lapghan will work for a young child as an afghan, or as a lapghan for a lucky lady to snuggle under.
Yippee for more cotton washcloths. Always a hit regardless of where they get donated to. The shelters love them, as do the folks living in the elements. They're also used in welcome home packs provided by Homeless Families Foundation when a family makes the transition from shelter living to a permanent housing situation. Cotton cloths are used as personal washcloths, and dishcloths.
Thank you Karen for your on going support of Bridge and Beyond and Ohio's Homeless. Please keep up the good work.

Donated Soft Warm Afghan Aids Ohio's Homeless Families
This beautiful crocheted afghan is a continuation of Lisa N's latest donation to Bridge and Beyond. Scroll back please if you missed the previous post to see how busy she has been with her crochet hook.
This afghan is sooooo nice and soft, so comforting it will be a prized possession to the family who receives it. I really like this color combination, it's so peaceful looking, very comforting to my way of thinking. It's sized so nicely a whole family will really be able to enjoy it.
Many thanks again Lisa for your generosity, and for your door to door delivery. Please keep up the good work and know your kindness will be put a smile on someone's face.

Blogging in Alphabetical Order, Nameless Afghans
Reviewing some of the ghans that have been designed and laid aside to be assembled and came across several without names. As today is N in our blogging in alphabetical order, thought I'd share them with you to see if we could come up with some names for these no named afghans.
I shared this one some time back and thought I'd name it Rolling Hills, but looking at it again...I'm just not sure. Other thoughts for a name for this one?
Or this one? These last 2 are more of the stripes someone intended to be scarves, but are too short to be scarves, but putting them together can make an afghan. Both of these will be quite narrow and need some addition to the sides, but then I think will work. Just don't names for them and am hoping you all might have some ideas. I'll continue thinking as well.
The first one is squares. They're not all the same size, but are pretty close so am hopeful not too much will need to be done to make them all fit together.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
