Matching Hat and Scarf Sets Warm Ohio's Homeless

Thank you Lisa N. for this thoughtful donation.  Lisa has been busy knitting up these lovely hat and scarf sets.  I love how she's packaged them.  Please click to enlarge the picture so you can see what I mean.  They're tied together nicely and have the size tag included.  Very nice!  I think it makes them look like a gift set don't you!

She's also included some personal care items and an extra hat.

Our weather has indeed turned.  We've had nights below freezing, and a fair amount of rain.  Got a short reprieve, but I fear that too is now over.  So these nice warm knitted goodies are truly needed.

Many thanks and please keep up the good work.  In these difficult times it's even more important to do what we can for those less fortunate.

I hope you're all staying safe from The Covid.  As we all move to more indoor activities, keep your hooks and needles busy folks.

Scarves and More for the Homeless

Thank you Lisa N!  What a generous and thoughtful donation.  Folks please click to enlarge the picture (remember, that's something you can always do).  I want you to see the details.  I particularly LOVE the colors in the scarf on the far left side of the picture.  Very nice...they all are, but those colors call out to me personally.

Lisa's been busy with crocheting cotton cloths, scarves and a hat!  These nice warm scarves are so needed, it's been quite cold and wet here in central Ohio.  Our homeless friends need these warm items, so please folks keep them coming.

Lisa, many thanks and please keep up the good work.  You've warmed a lot of people with your donation.

Donated Soft Warm Afghan Aids Ohio's Homeless Families

This beautiful crocheted afghan is a continuation of Lisa N's latest donation to Bridge and Beyond.  Scroll back please if you missed the previous post to see how busy she has been with her crochet hook.

This afghan is sooooo nice and soft, so comforting it will be a prized possession to the family who receives it.  I really like this color combination, it's so peaceful looking, very comforting to my way of thinking.  It's sized so nicely a whole family will really be able to enjoy it.

Many thanks again Lisa for your generosity, and for your door to door delivery.  Please keep up the good work and know your kindness will be put a smile on someone's face.

Donating Hats, scarves, socks, and so much More

Our friend Lisa N. has been very busy.  Look at this nice selection of personal care items, hats, scarves, socks, and crocheted cotton wash cloths!  A couple of the hats and scarves are sets, that's always a bonus.  A very generous donation indeed.  AND special thanks for the door to door delivery Lisa.

But...wait, she's not done.

Looks at this pretty afghan!  Remember folks you can always click on the pictures here on Bridge and Beyond to enlarge the picture.  I often encourage you to do that so you can see the details in each others work.  This blue will work for anyone, male or female of any age.  Very nice.  I think...maybe each panel was made...like making a scarf, then edged and joined??  If so, what a nice way to make ones work a bit more portable.

Thank you Lisa and please keep up the good work and know YOU make an important difference.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
