Thank you Laurabelle for this thoughtful donation to help our Homeless Friends here on Bridge and Beyond.
As you can see Laurabelle has been very busy knitted cotton washcloths (love the pink and white one), hats, slippers, and a scarf. She's also included lots of personal care items, and SOCKS! Clean dry warm socks is so important. She's included several styles and colors to make lots of happy feet.
Many many thanks Laurabelle, please keep up the good work and know you have made an important difference to those in need.
Folks are you noticing our goal numbers in the right side bar and just above this post? I love seeing the number of our donated items grow! Thank you to all who make this possible.
**The counts on our progress bars are current.
All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

What a wonderful donation Laurabelle! Your hats, scarves, slippers and socks will help keep the homeless warm in the cold weather that will be here soon.
ReplyDeleteYou're right on the mark Sue, and thanks for the visits and your always supportive comments.
DeleteOne of my friend made about half dozen small quilt and donated it to community action center (food bank) and I love hand knited or crochet dish clothes.
ReplyDeleteAwesome Dora, keep up the good work. Glad to know you do that. And thanks for the visit, much appreciated.
