Knitting in Sunny Florida to Warm Ohio's Cold Homeless
Thank you Laurabelle for this thoughtful donation. Laurabelle is our newest pair of helping hands and hails from the sunny state of Florida! PLEASE send sunshine!
Laurabelle has knitted a variety of styles of hats in a variety of colors. Something to please everyone. The hats vary in size as well. The red and gray scarf with fringe, looks very Buckeye-ish! Also please notice 2 of the hats match the scarves...sets are so nice. You can see it better if you click to enlarge the picture.
Folks I long ago disabled the silly, and very annoying captcha thing (where you click on pictures and or plug in numbers you can't see well), on this blog. It's my understanding that even though I have personally disabled it, and have chosen not to have the security feature on the blog...it's causing some of you troubles. Would you all please post in your comments whether or not you've been required by blogger to do one of those very annoying captcha picture or number things. Additionally, I know many of you visit and read; but don't leave messages/comments....I'm asking that you PLEASE leave a comment and let me know you're here. Visiting, reading, and commenting helps the blogs placement in SEO (search engine optimization), which in turn helps people find us, which in turns get's more helping hand........which translates into more donations to warm cold homeless people in need. So, please, even if you're shy...........leave a comment.
Thank you, and please stay warm...wherever you are. Keep those hooks and needles busy.
**The counts on our progress bars are current. All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Grrreat donation, Laurabelle! You do fantastic work! I know how much the people of Ohio will appreciate your hard work! Keep your needles flying!!
ReplyDeleteRight you are Sally. So nice to see you here again on the blog.
DeleteWelcome Laurabelle! Great donation! The hats and scarves will be very nice to help the homeless stay warm.
ReplyDeleteSandy, one day last week, I typed my comments, put in my name and when I hit the publish button, my comments went away. I tried about 4 times before it work. Sometimes, I have to click on lots of the pictures before I get the verified button.
Wish blogger could get things fixed. There have been a good number of complaints among bloggers. You should never get pictures, I have it turned off in my settings. Wish I understood how that happens. Thanks for letting me know and thanks for your perseverance.
DeleteI only had to click thru 2 sets of pictures to post my first comment.
ReplyDeleteArgh....I hate doing them when I make my blog rounds and don't understand why they are there when I've turned them off. Will see if I can follow up and figure anything out.
DeleteSorry about not posting. I read the blog each time you post a photo on facebook, but rarely have much to say.
ReplyDeleteI've never had to do anything weird to get here, see pictures, or post.
So happy you took time to post comment. It really is helpful and thrilled to know you've not had to deal with the pictures...I hate captcha's and wish they would go far far away.
DeleteWonderful donation! I love all the colors! Great work Laurabelle.
ReplyDeleteSandy, I don't have to do anything to view pictures. They come up when I click. The only thing I have to select to post a comment is the "I'm not a robot" button".
Awesome news, that you only have to click you're not a robot. That's the way it should be. That's the least restrictive setting available and the one I've always chosen. Thanks for visiting and welcoming Laurabelle.
