Look at this pretty aqua blue/ turquoise blue crocheted afghan! Such a pretty color. The open shell lacy pattern is very feminine and will put a smile on the face of the lucky lady who receives this. Thank you Patty C for this thoughtful and pretty afghan.
Who doesn't like blue! This long rectangular blue afghan will work better for the men folk in the group, and or teens. Afghans are loved by everyone who receives them. It's such a wonderful way to say congratulations and best of luck for a brighter future when our homeless families transition from shelter to permanent housing. Thank you Patty you've put smiles on 2 families faces.
Please keep up the good work Patty!!
Folks, pop back in, Patty's been really busy...there's more to share!

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

DeleteAwesome! Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day--feeling better every day. Loving acts of kindness are so great to see!
ReplyDelete~Lucy at Kidsmathteacher.com
Best of luck in all you do Lucy. There are many people with loving acts of kindness who help the Bridge and Beyond with its mission.
DeleteA brilliant blue which is calming and happy. Another thing is that one can see the person which may be beneficial to the homeless person
ReplyDeleteI like brilliant, calming and happy, not sure I understand Birgit what you mean about the seeing the person? Thank you for your visits.
DeleteOh sorry, yes that is vague. The homeless are often in dark colours and could easily be hit by a car or they "disappear" in to the cement when they are laying down against a building. Maybe by having something bright on, they will be noticed more. Does that make sense?
DeleteAfghans are great, especially cheerful blue ones!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lynda, I really think everyone loves blue.
DeleteWhat a grand idea to raise money for the homeless. I've been talking about the dance studio I'm putting in my garage, as I just moved last year. I do about the same as you do. I don't really charge but there is a donation can for money that goes to the animal shelter. I know others who do the same with Yoga studios.
ReplyDeleteThe afghans will make someone very happy.
