Crochet Hats Donated to Aid the Homeless
Thank you Sandie P, for this thoughtful donation of crocheted hats and scarves for our Homeless here in Central Ohio. Sandie hails from Louisiana, and is someone you probably all remember as one of the very first people to donate here on Bridge and Beyond years ago when the whole idea began. I so appreciate Sandie's longevity.
These hats have already been delivered and are no doubt already putting a smile on 5 grateful people's faces.
We've had some very cool nights already folks, with frost, so the true cold weather isn't far behind. Please keep your hooks and needles busy. The Homeless truly need you, and the warmth you all provide.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, the hats are double crochet, worked in the round. The scarf is a bit shorter than I normally make them. I thought maybe a young boy? I hope it will warm someone. I happened across it in my completed box.
ReplyDeleteNice donation Sandie P. They will help some bodies stay warmer. Nice dark colors also.
