Knitted items and other Goods being Donated


Thank you Sue S for this thoughtful donation of knitted hats, scarves, and cotton washcloths, as well as the personal care items you've included.   Nice color mix in all your hand knits.  Sue's hit on something I've not thought about before folks, personal care items for women, tompons and the like.  What a awesome idea.  It's not something I need to deal with, hasn't been for a good number of years and so it wasn't on my radar; but a very needed item.  She asked about this after receiving samples in the mail of said items. 

Keep up the good work Sue!

Folks if you didn't get a chance to see it, please scroll back 1 post and read about the happiness challenge for August in addition to our need of mittens and hats....the really tie intogether.  AND scroll back 2 posts if you missed it, I posted some numbers about where we were with donations at this time last year compared to where we currently are.  I think it will help you see where the need lies, as well as see how well we've done in some areas.

All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.

    GOOD JOB SUE. Lots of manly colors for our guys, also good things for the ladies. Love the colors you chose. Something good for everyone. Am I seeing t shirts? Another good idea. Have thought of that myself but you beat me to it. Wonderful thoughtful and useful gifts. AGAIN GOOD JOB!

    Thank you ladies for the comments. Yes, I also put in some T-Shirts. Came across a deal that I couldn't pass up. Also, I don't use the personal items anymore, so after getting free samples in the mail, I wanted to do something with them.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name.
