Yvonne sent lots of wonderful goodies for our folks in need. YIPPEE!!! She sent some yarn which I'll use to make some scarves and other needed items, she sent soap she's collected at hotels, white and black footies.
6 Fabulously warm knitted hats of various sizes and a great scarf that I think might be double thickness. A Wonderful assortment of colors too. People are going to be warm, and look great all at the same time.
These hats are darling, look at the cool edge. Click on the picture so you can see the detail.
I hope you've noticed how many new pairs of helping hands we're getting. It's really very exciting. I try to remember to add names to our blog log for those folks with blogs and hope you take the time to visit each other. For those without blogs I've a list too. If you see I've forgotten to add your name, PLEASE let me know. If at one time you didn't have a blog and so you're on that list and you begin blogging, sing out so I can make the change.
Keep those hooks and needles busy, keep inspire each other, you are all FABULOUS. I'm leaving this (((((((((((((HUG)))))))))) for you all!
**This post officially ends the contest, pop back to see who our winner is, will be announced in the very next post!**

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Glad I can help. I'm working on some more things as I know the weather sure is turning colder here. Thanks for the opportunity to help-Yvonne
ReplyDelete200 posts and still going strong. Excellent! Glad to see others joining in as well as the old timers continuing to provide support. Good job, Sandy. I know your efforts are appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandie, I agree with you regarding our new and old helpers. It keeps us moving along, growing stronger and stronger, helping more and more!

Thanks for the many different ways others can contribute to this cause. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteYou've done such a lot of good work these past years. I love seeing people from all over the world helping one another. We are each touched in different ways and by different efforts and concentrate our own efforts there. With that we hope everyone is covered and help is given to all those who are in need.
