Neat pattern, Doris! These 9 crocheted hats are nice and thick and stretchy. I need to ask; but think she's crocheted these with back stitch only dc lengthwise? Then stitched them together. See the nice ribbing? Stella's modeling one...you all remember what a ham she is about getting her picture taken. lol
Doris wanted to help more, but her arthritis flared so she sent along some (11) hats she purchased as well.
In both cases I was able to divide them by the various sizes for the clinics and the Bridge. Delivered a good size for each yesterday.
Thanks again all, keep up the fabulous work. Hubby was complaining about the scraping the frost off the car windows the last couple of mornings, so you know how cold it's getting.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

I love seeing your progress on my dashboard. It warms my heart as I'm sure these hats will warm the people under the bridge. May God continue to bless your efforts.
ReplyDeleteThses hats will be put to good use very soon. Did you know the wind chill was 19 yesterday morning? I think Rae is going to take some of these to the homeless people who visit the clinic too....
