Wonderful Crocheted Blue Scarves to Warm the Homeless

Who doesn't love blue?  Blue is good for men or women.  Lovely scarves from our friend, Ruth A.  I really love the size, long enough to wrap around for added warmth.  Ruth hails from Virginia and has been such a good supporter of Bridge and Beyond.

I love scarves, think how cool you sometimes are when your neck is exposed to just wind...even when it's not that cold out?  Scarves can make such a huge difference in someone's comfort in or outdoors.  You know even those indoors, in a shelter perhaps for the night could enjoy a nice soft warm scarf wrap around them.

Please keep up the good work Ruth, and know how much we appreciate your efforts.

(folks this is another post that should have been published some time ago, but was stuck in draft mode,so did a cut and paste so it would publish today.)  I'm double checking settings to see if I can determine what has changed that's causing this problem.

Crocheted Cotton Washcloths

WOW!!  Beverly S from the sunny state of Florida has been very busy.  Look at this wonderful selection of cotton washcloths she's crocheted.  Pick a color...........any color, pick a style, a shape, a size......she's covered it!!  See if you can pick a favorite style or color.  I partial to the one that looks like blue waves/water in the upper left corner.    Be sure and click to enlarge the picture so you can see all the details.  AND I love the blue green color combination....there are about 4 of them near the pinks....very pretty.  I think a hundred years ago I had a bathing suit very close to the color combination.

Nice work Beverly, thrilled to have you join us here on Bridge and Beyond, where we make a difference in someone's life with every knitted or crocheted stitch.  Hope to see you here often.

And please remember to pack some sunshine in your packages, lol

Donating Knitted Cotton Washcloths

Thank you Dee Ann H for this thoughtful donation of knitted cotton washcloths.  Look at the variety of styles and stitches she's used.  Please remember folks you can always click on pictures to make them larger to see details.  Camo, so perfect for our men folk.  Cotton cloths have a large variety of uses.  They're used by our folks living in the elements as both wash and dish clothes.  Likewise, our friends in shelters..  They're often used in welcome home packs for our homeless friends who transition from shelter living to their permanent housing situation.

Many thanks Dee Ann, happy to have you helping us here on Bridge and Beyond.  Please know you make a difference, an important one in the lives you touch.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
