Crocheted Blue Hats Help Homeless

Thank you Som P from Virginia for this thoughtful donation of crocheted hats.  As you can see she's included a variety of sizes in her blue variegated donation.  This blue works well for men or women.  You might remember Som used to live in Hawaii.  She's now moved and is still crocheting and donating to Bridge and Beyond to help Ohio's Homeless.

Many thanks Som, please keep up the good work.

I'm going to try something a little different with keeping our stats.  I'm listing our end numbers from 2015 and will subtract our current number as means of keeping our goal in front of us.  I'll show the goal number in Red.  Let's strive not just to match last years numbers, but.........work towards even more.  Thank you for all you do.  As time goes on, we won't see the year end numbers, we'll see the previous goal and subtract the new donation from it.  Hopefully we'll find this helpful and not too cumbersome...if so, we'll return to our previous format.

Woot woot, more lovely warm knitted hats from our good friend Sandra R in Florida.  16 more heads will be warmed thanks to her skillful hands and generosity.  As always, Sandra's has tagged each hat with size....many thanks for doing this.  Her donation includes hats of various sizes, colors, and styles...all beautifully made and soft and warm!  If you scroll back you'll see 3 other pictures of hats and afghans that comprised her 2 box donation to start us off so nicely during this cold month of January into our new year.

Many thanks Sandra, please keep up the good work.  YOU ROCK!!

Thank you Darlene H. for this thoughtful and warm donation and scarves.  While our primary mission is handmade (knitted or crocheted or loomed) goods, Darlene found an awesome sale of warm mittens and thankfully.........she didn't turn them down.  11 pairs of hands will be warmer now.........so nice, as mittens are an item difficult for many to make, and we rarely get enough to cover the need.  In addition Darlene knitted 2 hats (lower right corner).

If you've been to the blog a number of times here on Bridge and Beyond, you I clap and dance in the streets when we receive mittens.........Thank you Darlene.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
