Scarf #21 AND 22 AND 23 AND 24 !!!

crocheted scarf
knitted scarf
crocheted scarves

Wow...sure have had a time getting this posted. This is the 3rd try!!! The 2 tone knitted scarf is one I made which is really warm and thick. The 2 pictured together (blue and green), are crocheted from Sandie, and the darkest green is also crocheted from Sandie using diag. box stitch. I really like the look!

Thanks bunches Sandie. I need to try my hand at one of those scarfs.

Now that blogger is working better I'll add a bit to my note. Not sure what was going on last night when I tried and tried to post. I kept losing my blog post and the pictures. Anyway...the scarfs Sandie made are wonderful. The yarn is yummy.

Sorry you can't see the design in the multi-colored blue scarf I knitted, it has some neat texture which doesn't show up in the picture. Bummer.

Look how our team members have grown! Cool hun. And don't forget we have people who knit and or crochet who aren't team members helping us out with the cause here. Some are followers/readers some friends there off. AND...we have over 30 members who've joined in The Ravelry Group. Some of us are in both places which is also cool. Join us however you can, whatever method works for you is fine.

Be safe, be warm and Happy New Years to you all!

Doing a happy mailman dance!

Pictures need to be posted later (need to retrieve my camera from a family member...hoping that will be later today). I finished a scarf Christmas Day which is #21, and last evening did a happy dance when my mailman left 2 packages at my door from the other Sandie. 3 more scarfs...counting #22-23-and 24! Sandie as always, nice work; but I'm particularly interested in the dark loomy green one. What stitch did you use? I really like the texture and how well it shows up on that dark green. Thanks bunches Sandie.

I made a delivery to Jan yesterday earlier in the day, and she'll be passing those items onto Rae tonight, so with the above 4 scarfs am collecting up what will be our 4th delivery!!!!

Thanks Ghost for posting the link and explaning the M1 to me. Believe thats the first time I've seen that in a pattern. I'll be checking out the how to. Appreciate the help. Links for both knitting and crocheting mitten patterns in 2 previous posts if anyone wants to snag them.

Thank you all for your wonderful support for this cause. Keep up the good work.

Happy Holiday Updates!

Anyone have the ability to make mittens or gloves

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family, friends, and loved ones. If you traveled I hope your travels kept you safe and warm and without complications. Now...vacations over gang, so lets get back to work. lol I plan to drop off another (our 3rd) delivery to Jan today so stay tuned. We'll let you know when they make it to our group under the bridge. I'm hoping they're keeping dry, as the last couple of days here have been very wet.

Putting out a call for mittens and gloves...I'm anxious to try the pattern Bunny suggested, and also looking forward to the ones she has in the works. Here's the links Bunny posted for us in the previous blog note. Crocheted mittens and here's knitted mittens

My thanks to all who've joined "officially" or otherwise, those that have added our link to their blogs, blogged about our cause as well as those that have hooks and needles flying to help with their loving stitches.

You are ALL AWESOME!

***pssssssssss the knitted pattern is exciting to me because you don't need DP's to do it. Though I did just buy a set to see if I can work on DP's, I'm not ready to make that leap. However, I note a stitch called M1..backward e loop? Hum, no clue what that is, guess I need to look for a tutorial.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
