This is the second half of Gail B.'s donation folks. If you were here a few days ago you saw wonderful yarn she donated. Additionally, her hooks been busy. Here are 3 more awesome scarves in nice dark colors. You know how I LOVE nice dark colors. They don't show the dirt which is a huge consideration for folks living in the elements and or shelters where doing laundry is very difficult if possible at all. AND dark colors work for men, women, and children. Lighter colors are much more limited in whom they're appropriate for.
As you can see, Gail's also crocheted hats and tagged them with size. Many thanks Gail B. Gail's been a long time and very generous supporter of Bridge and Beyond. We're thrilled to have her with us in our efforts to warm Ohio's Homeless and others in need.
Keep up the good work Gail B.

Knitting Aids the Homeless
Thank you thank you Joyce B. This post concludes the very generous donation Joyce delivered to when she was here in town to support her family's participation in the Marathon. If you're reading this blog for the first time, you may not be aware I've recently decided to break up large donations to have fewer items in each picture, fewer pictures per post so you all can better see the wonderful donations, AND in order to aid having a post more regularly (daily being the goal). Many thanks Joyce.
Wonderful hats, scarves, and a cowl in the upper left of this picture. Hats of many sizes and colors. AND what a wonderful plus that you tagged all your hats with size! Doing so speeds up the process for me in separating donations into the right bag for kids or adults, men or women etc. Additionally, it speeds up time for the many big hearted volunteers to who help staff the various shelters. The quicker items leave my house and get to the volunteers, the quicker they're in the hands of the homeless and others in need.
Thank you Joyce, look forward to seeing you here often on Bridge and Beyond. Please keep up the good work.

Donating Yarn and More
Thank you Gail B for this thoughtful donation and your on going and long time support of Bridge and Beyond. We certainly value all you do. Gail has donated some yarn that will get put to good use and scarves she's crocheted. Gail's work is always wonderful, and I love how she uses nice dark colors suitable for men or women.
I love the rust and blues together here, they might just stay paired like that to make a ghan? They might be needed elsewhere, time will tell, but solid rust and variegated rust with the two shades of blue make me see stripes or ripples or...........um. We shall see what they choose to become. We all know sometimes the yarn speaks to us, lol.
Many thanks Gail, as always please keep up the good work.

Reaching Beyond here on Bridge and Beyond
Thank you Cheri and cousin Jackie. I know (online) Cheri from Find A Grave (where we post to document gravesstones). Cheri and I also connected on Facebook where I read a post regarding homeless folks her cousin was trying to help. Followed the links along and connected with her cousin Jackie.
Jackie hikes in the woods and has run into several homeless guys that's she's trying to aid with warm items, food etc. I sent her a box of hats, scarves, socks, and personal care items to extend our borders ...beyond. After all, the name of our mission is Bridge and Beyond........
I've blurred the box so as not to post Jackie's address and I've heard back that she has indeed received our donation. So thank you Cheri and Jackie for caring, the flowers for you. I hope the box of donations from Bridge and Beyond and the many good folks here that make donations possible is of help in your quest there in Indiana.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
