Crocheting to Help Homeless

Crocheted Cotton Washcloths, hats, mittens, scarves and personal care items...from quess who, lol.  You're right, from our good friend RoseMarie...you can tell right off the bat with her signature trim and embellishments.  LOVE the hat with the bobbles, click folks to enlarge and see the cute details.  Just realized I took the picture of the scarf on the wrong side folks, cause it too had a cute flower...from memory, I think it was yellow?  Didn't realize that.  Would re-take photo, but these nice items are already in the hands of someone in need, as I processed all the donations from when I was away one day, and made deliveries the very next day.

As always, RoseMarie, please keep up the good work.  We're thrilled to have you among us.

Folks the temps have been brutal here, as I know they have in other places as well.  How people survive in these conditions astounds me.  Please keep your needles and hooks busy, and please keep those less fortunate in your prayers.

Many thanks to you all.

Slippers to Warm Homeless Feet

Wonderful, warm, and colorful crocheted slippers.  Look at the variety folks.  Thank you Cheryl B for this awesome and very thoughtful donation.  Nothing better then toasty warm dry feet.  These will be truly appreciated by those that receive them, be they folks living in shelters, or those in the elements.

Cheryl's stitches are so nice and tight, making these slippers even warmer!

Please keep up the good work.

Cowls, Neck Warmers, Mufflers, Infinity Scarf, Mobius

So many names for this style of scarf, I never really know which is correct.  Gator, Neck Warmers, Cowls, Infinity scarves, Mobius..........What do you call them?  And is there a difference?  Scarf to me is in fact a flat long rectangle piece of knitting, crocheting, looming, weaving etc.  But, when it's round.........and still covers the neck for warmth???

Whatever the correct word is (if there is just one), thank you Sara G for this warm crocheted donation for Ohio's cold Homeless in Need.  Love the variety of colors, the women receiving these will be warm and stylish.  I'm pretty partial to the blue-ish teal one in the lower left corner.  Such a pretty color!  Nice work, Sara, we're thrilled to have you join us as our newest pair of helping hands.  Welcome!  Hope to see you here often at Bridge and Beyond.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
