Warming Ohio's Homeless

Hats, personal care items, and socks.  What an awesome donation.  Thank you AnneMarie from New York.  AnneMarie has been a wonderful supporter and good friend to Bridge and Beyond.  She's quite gifted with her crochet hook...as you can see. Nice variety in colors and hat sizes........and all hats are nicely tagged with size......AWESOME!  I'm having a hard time picking a favorite here, it might be the bright blue with the cool texture in the lower right corner....or maybe the spiral burgundy right beside it.

Great work, please keep up the good work AnneMarie.  We so appreciate you're on going support.

Stripped Crocheted Afghan to Welcome You Home

Thank you Gail B for warm stripped crocheted afghan.  The family who receives this is going to be very happy and warm.  For those who may be reading this blog for the first time, we knit and crochet and donate afghans to help families celebrate their future.  When a family leaves a shelter and moves into their permanent home, welcome home packages are put together.  These are items to help them get started again, to give them a pat on the back for putting their lives back together, and we add afghans to those packages.  They keep families warm, they give them a pat on the back, and hope for the future to be brighter.

Gail has been a very long time supporter of Bridge and Beyond.  She and I first became acquainted over on Crochetville.  She does beautiful work.

Thank you Gail!

She's also crocheted scarves, and included socks.  All items will be so very much appreciated.

Recently, I decide to pile less in a picture so you all could better see the awesome donations, so stay turned..........they're will be additional pictures and posts of Gail's donation.

**Does anyone know how to change the font on the blogs?  I see options when typing a post, but can't find where to change it from default to this larger style which I much prefer.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
