Thank you Rose Marie for your thoughtful donation and your continuous support of our cause. Containers and plastic bags that Rae will use in her meal ministry, headbands, hat and scarf set and shampoo, and cotton washcloths. Did you use a popcorn stitch in the 2nd headband? Very nice and thick.

Donated Supplies help with Meal Preparation for Homeless
WOW! AnneMarie has done it again with a generous donation. A case of garbage bags, a case of grocery bags, a case of plastic containers and a case of rain poncho's. Many many thanks AnneMarie for your on going support. Rae was thrilled with these items to aid in the extended ministry. Plastic containers help with meal prep, grocery bags give the homeless something to carry their meals in, and the garbage bags give them something to carry their meager belongings in. Obviously the rain ponchos help to keep people dry who live out in the elements, as well as those waiting in lines at soup kitchens, those waiting outdoors til time to enter a shelter for the night etc.
Many many thanks AnneMarie.

Cotton WashCloths Always Need at Family Shelters
Thank you Linda J for these crocheted cotton washcloths. These are always a bit hit at all the family shelters we deliver our donations to. Nice variety in size and designs. People use them as washcloths, and as dishcloths. They're used when people first come into the shelters and need so much, and they're used in moving out packages to aid them setting up housekeeping when they transition from shelter to permanent housing.
Please keep up the good work, Linda.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
