Look at what a good friend, and long time supporter, Gail B from Virginia has donated! A gorgeous afghan in what I believe is a shell stitch...very pretty. She's donated socks, a cotton washcloth, some plastic containers for the meal prep, some very pretty purple yarn(that you know will get put to good use), and some dishtowels and potholders. Those dishtowels and pot holders will be awesome for the shelters families and or it their moving out packages when they transition from shelter living to their permanent housing . Very nice Gail, many thanks!
Please keep up the good work.

Donations from New York will Warm Ohio's Homeless
Thank you Barbara F from New York for this thoughtful and colorful crocheted donation of hats, scarves, headbands, and slippers. Very nice. I particularly like the color combination of the orange hat; and the slippers are made with double thickness yarn something I'm really in favor of. The double yarn makes them obviously warmer, thicker, and more durable!
Please keep up the good work.

Colorful and Warm Donations
Thank you Sue F from Ohio for this wonderful donation. I love those slippers! Folks be sure and click the picture so you can see them better. I believe she's used double yarn; but am not certain what type of yarn. Sue...is it double DK or sock yarn? Very nice and I love fun mix of colors. She's also knitted 3 nice warm hats and a pair of mittens, and a crocheted scarf. Again, I think the hats and scarf is double yarn?
Thanks also for remembering to tag those hats and slippers with size...that's very much appreciated. Please keep up the good work.
Folks this is blog post #973...can you believe we're only 27 posts away from hitting 1,000!!!! That's pretty exciting to me because all those posts represent wonderful donations from good people like YOU!

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
