Project Bags and Naming Afghans

These are my project bags.  I mentioned in a previous post I had pulled out yarn to work on projects and tucked them into project bags.  Additionally I had pulled out things that needed to be assembled into an afghan and found appropriate yarn to complete that project.

In these 7 projects bags are afghans named:
Pippi Longstocking (you saw it in a previous post)
Brown Marble
Rolling Hills
Brick Yard

Also bags of ghans to be...that I need names for:
  1. There's a blue ripple one (there was a very early picture of that right after the New Years).  I can call it blue ripple...but maybe blue waves is better? Going with Ocean Waves, see below.  Lisa you're on a roll.  Thanks loads.
  2. There's one that will be Purple and Turquoise....any ideas of names? Cute idea, Elsa's Dream from Frozen.  I did have one already titled Purple Mountain Majesty.
  3. One that will be a brown variegated and dark brown solid....any ideas on that?  See below's comments.  LOVE the suggestion of Latte' Love.  Thank you Lisa!
  4. One that's blue and grey stripes..large sections

Here's the start of the blue ripple.  A friend suggest Ocean Wave, which lead me to Blue Ocean.  The previous picture of this ghan showed brown variegated with it, which I've now decided against.  This will be shades of blue.

I'm open to ideas folks so please sing out if you have an idea.

Pictures will be forthcoming...once I get said projects out of the project bags.

What are you all working on?

Project Bags and Orange Julius Afghan

Projects Bags.  These 3  bags of full of projects.  Each bag is an afghan that's been designed and waiting in the wings to be assembled.  They've traveled with me to a recent vacation to Hilton Head with the hope of having more time than usual to assemble the afghans.

This afghan waiting in the wings is called Orange Julius.  As you can see, there's quite a variety in size and style of squares as well as rectangles.  Some are knitted, some are crocheted, so putting them together will require edging, some a row others more to make them a bit more uniform in size.  Once edged and joined a nice big border will be needed to make the afghan a good size for a family to keep warm.  I'll be using a reddish orange to edge and assemble this afghan.  Please stay tuned for it's progress.

**The counts on our progress bars are current, the percentages not quite. I'll not be figure the percentages with each update of numbers, but will be updating again next at least by the 20th. I have in fact made a reminder not on my cell phone for the 20th of each month to do percentages. If we're at a milestone, or I just have extra time I may do it more often...but certainly at that scheduled time.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
