Hats for the Homeless

Please say hello to Jackie P from Pennsylvania, our newest pair of helping hands.  Jackie's crocheted and donated a dozen hats.  Different colors and different sizes to fit a variety of head sizes.  There are several different styles/designs here to.  Click to enlarge (as you always can here on the blog to see pictures better), to take a look at the pastel blue one that has nice cables...very nice.

Nice to have you join us Jackie, hope to see you here often on Bridge and Beyond.

*Please remember to keep your donations free of pet hair.   Lint rollers work fairly well to remove small amounts, but those who's furry friends like to lay on their hand crafted items should launder their donations before mailing them.  It really delays things and makes my allergies flair when I have to launder donations before being able to distribute them.*

2013 Donation Totals:
Hats:  231+12=243
Scarves: 110
Socks:98
Afghans: 4
Slippers: 77
Rain Ponchos:2
Mittens: 15
Cotton Wash Clothes: 134
Shawls, Sweaters, Vests, Poncho's: 4
Misc. Items: include personal care, headbands, handwarmers, cowls/gators and all meal prep related items,  etc aren't tabulated

All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
