Scarves can make such a difference in how warm someone is. They can be wrapped around multiple times, or pulled up to cover ones nose, or wrapped inside a coat for added chest warm. Scarves are a true must in Ohio's cold winters. Today when I awoke it was 4...4 is really cold. I wear scarves inside most of the winter, so you know how needed they are for folks living out in the elements. Or those who need to spend the day outdoors before they can get a bed inside at a shelter.
We have had more snow, and colder temps this winter it seems to me than we've had in the last couple of years. Though hubby and I wonder if because we're getting older, we just notice the cold more?

You are right, Sandy. We had a few days of below freezing weather - highly unusual in my area of the world. No snow, but freezing rain. I haven't put my foot outside in days. :-) I'm like a bear, hibernating in winter. I'm happy the scarves made it to you and hope they keep a few folks warm. It's sad that they're needed but I'm glad to do what I can to help.
