Russian Violinist who came to the US in her 20's, seeking asylum, ends up homeless. She's become known as The Subway Soprano in Los Angeles.
PLEASE take time to click on the link below for the full story, and listen...by all means listen to her beautiful singing in the subway at first, then she how her life is being transformed!
Beautiful story Emily Zamourka, being helped by Officer Frazier, and an offer from music producter, Joel Diamond.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if all homeless stories could end so well.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

I saw her on the TV news. What a wonderful voice. It was terrible that her violin got destroyed. I wish her the best, that beautiful voice needs to be heard.
ReplyDeleteWas indeed sad about her violin. I hope she's able to employment and an apartment. Maybe she'll be able to play again. Such talent to have a voice like that and play the violin. Thanks for your visit and your's always supportive comments.
