Mary D, our newest pair of helping hands has been very busy creating hats and scarves for the younger set. The kids will be thrilled to get these soft scarves. So happy to have you with us Mary, helping Ohio's Homeless in Need. So many people without roofs over their heads,
or living day to day, hoping for nights in shelters here and there. Children are still expected to go to school. Has to be hard, not knowing where you'll be for the night or when you'll have a meal next.
One of the things Homeless Family's Foundation does is transport children to and from school, making sure they have a meal on return to the facility from school, and they provide homework assistance for the kids to help them through these difficult times, while they work with the adults to find lodging and jobs.
These hats and scarves will help them know, someone cares! These hats and scarves will help them stay warmer, and healthier. Many thanks Mary D, please keep up the good work.
AND look what a wonderful dent her donation has made in our goals for hats and scarves. 205 hats needed to reach last years donation mark. AND167 hats to meet last years mark. Will we make it? 28 days left to the end of the year. Let's see how close we can get.

**We started the year with the number of items we had donated last year, 2016; and will subtract our donations from that. Using the end number for 2016 as the goal for the each item. So, as the year continues you will see numbers decrease. Our goal is to meet and surpass the number of items donated last year.**
All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.
What a great donation, there will be a lot more warm children.
