Five awesome hats from our long time supporter and friend, Sandie P from Louisiana. Not sure what type of yarn Sandie used in these hats, but it's particularly soft, and thick. These hats will be nice and warm. And gray is a color good for anyone, male or female. Gray doesn't stand out in a crowd, which is very important to most homeless people. They don't like to call attention to themselves. Sadly, part of that reason is for self protection from both police and thugs. Special thanks too Sandie for tagging your hats with size.
Tagging hats, mittens, slippers with size is important. Each item we knit or crochet get's separated here at my house, and again at the various shelters so volunteers can get the donated items to the right people. Tags don't have to be a work of art, but please do include them on each item. You can use these little white tags with string like Sandie has done above, or scrap paper attached with yarn. I've seen some cleaver folks cut squares or circles with pinking shears to make their tags. All work! Please do not use safety pins, or paper clips, or sticky labels to attach size.
Many thanks Sandie for your long time support of Ohio's Homeless in need, please keep up the good work.

**We started the year with the number of items we had donated last year, 2016; and will subtract our donations from that. Using the end number for 2016 as the goal for the each item. So, as the year continues you will see numbers decrease. Our goal is to meet and surpass the number of items donated last year.**
All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.
