Thank you Patty C! Patty and her crochet hook have been very very busy, as you can see crocheting hats and scarves to help Ohio's homeless. I LOVE that the hats and scarves are nice dark, and pretty much solid colors. These colors are so versatile for both men and women. I mention from time to time, the darker colors serve many purposes. The most obvious reason the darker colors are so good is they don't tend to show the dirt. However, even more importantly the dark colors vs light and bright colors keep them from standing out..........folks that's very important to homeless. They want to blend in, not catch the attention of others who might make things difficult for them.
Many thanks Patty, please keep up the good work.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit Sue, right you are. We're only at 31 at 9am....groan, it's here the weather I despise.
ReplyDeleteI am catching up. These are great and I never thought about bright or light colours making them stand out. I guess they would and never thought they dislike that. Now that you say it, makes sense
ReplyDeleteThanks Birgit for the visit and comment, both are appreciated. Being safe, not standing out, protects them against the cops, as well as against each other. Some are good people, some not.
