Slippers

A little something to put a smile on your face.  LOL  I truly cracked up (that saying really dates me I know),when I first saw this no pattern slippers...every knitter and crocheter should get a kick out of this.  Heck...even folks who don't knit or crochet should enjoy this.  Just slip your foot in a big old ball/skein of yarn...and tie them.

*Disclaimer.........don't try this at home folks!

Laughing aside, slippers are always needed.  They'reused by  folks in shelters to get their feet out of cold wet socks and shoes...giving them a chance to dry things out.  They're also appreciated by those living on the streets as they attempt to get warm or more comfortable or sponge out there socks.  We have both knitted crocheted slipper patterns here on the blog just click on the slipper tat across the top of the page of click Here

    1. We all have those lists of things we want to make someday, don't we. Saw a man knitting the other day. He was knitting a beautiful sweater with the most involved cables I've ever seen.......geesh

  2. They are probably very cushiony on your feet but have to make sure the pussy cat doesn't grab the yarn:)

    1. Good point about the kitty, they do love to play with yarn.

  3. Oh, I didn't think about the cats. They don't bother me (most of the time) while knitting, but if I wore yarn skeins on my feet, it might be a different story.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
