Thank you Thank you Yvonne S. What a nice donation of warm fee. 16 pairs of socks so very necessary for our folks living in the elements. Truly it doesn't matter what time of year or the weather, clean dry socks are so needed. She also included lots of personal items in her thoughtful donation. Personal care items such as toothpaste, chapstick, toothpaste etc.
Many many thanks! So nice we have such caring folks to help those in need.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Great donation Yvonne of all the socks and personal care items. They will be nice for the homeless to have.
ReplyDeleteThose are the most needy items too. We did a panty ride for women in a shelter. We all decorated panties and rode our motorcycles to the fundraiser. There was almost 200 of us. The fun part was the most enthusiastic were the men. They had bras, girdles, and all new. (that was the deal... all new). Needless to say, it was a good ride and we collected a lot of money and product to give to the home.
ReplyDeleteThe panty ride for the women shelter was a good idea. Glad you all were able to collect money and product for the women.
DeleteOh gosh that is a wonderful donation. Socks are a must for sure
