Thank you Dianne L for this thoughtful donation of personal care items and rain poncho's. These are items always needed, all 12 months of the year. Dianne was able to save lots of hotel goodies from some recent travels....perfect way to help the homeless without needing to spend money or time knitting and or crocheting. She's also included some Avon Lip Balm/Chap Stick.........another item used all year long, be it cold for cracked cold lips or hot and cracked lips in summer's heat.
Many thanks Dianne, please keep up the good work, it's much appreciated.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Wonderful summertime donation Dianne, Many items to be put to good use by our homeless friends at this hot sticky time of the year. We are at 85 degrees with high dewpoints today and continuing on through next week, Nothing better then a good dip in the lake on these hot days. A nice shower and clean up is always a good thing especially when you are trying to cool down. No A/C under the bridge, but these items will make it much more comfortable. GOD BLESS THE HOMELESS. marj in minnesota
ReplyDeleteVery thoughtful donation!
ReplyDelete(In answer to your comment left on my last blog post, we live in Prescott, so we wouldn't make an offer on a house in Phoenix, about 2 hours away. Eventually we'll be buying here once the house sells in San Diego :)

ReplyDeleteThat is a great donation especially the rain ponchos
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful donation! And thank you for posting it. I mean, it's obvious that those hotel size articles are great donations, but I haven't really thought about it, I admit.
ReplyDeleteGreat donation and much needed. Always needed.
