You're Never too Small

I spotted this the other day on Facebook and thought I'd share.  It made me think of our motto, The Power Of One

One person can indeed make a difference, and then we multiple that when we team up.  Every knit or crocheted stitch you donate makes a difference.  Those individual stitches add up one row at a time, one person at a time, one team working towards a common goal of helping others.

Thank you all for what you do.  YOU ALL ROCK!!

2015 Donations:

Hats: 118
Scarves:33
Mittens: 42
Slippers: 47
Rain Poncho's: 3
Cotton Washcloths:53
Afghans:2
Socks: 47
Fingerless gloves/wrist warmers:
Cowls/Infinity scarves: 12
Shawls: 1
Misc: personal care items and anything not listed above

All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.

  1. OH DEAR, the Dahli Lama and the Mosquito ..Gives one food for thought.:+) definitely know alot about mosquitoes, living in Minnesota the land of the mosquito, not too much about the Dahli Lama.
Weather in for a change here. 60 today, but 40s tomorrow and the rest of the week. Cold weekend ahead in the high 30s.Time to bundle up again in those nice warm hats and scarves, and pull on some warm socks. Still plenty of weather ahead to knit and crochet, and remember the power of one. GOD BLESS THE HOMELESS.marj in minnesota

  2. Oh yes, Marj there in Minn bet you do know about Mosquitos. Ground is soggy here from the rain and the melt, but we did have some nice sun yesterday. Cooler and a bit cloudy so far today. Thanks for popping in, and right your are The Power of One!

  4. The power of one! Love the post today.
It's to be 65 here today, but in the 40's also the rest of the week. The hat is getting close to being done for this group.

    1. 65 Sounds nice, but then again 40 is whole lot warmer then we've all had so even that's not bad. Thanks for popping in Sue, glad you liked todays post.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
