Hi folks, wanted to give you a bit of an update. I'm growing....right from the horses mouth, lol. When last picture this afghan was 15 inches and here's it's grown to 21 inches. I work on it in between working on "Learning Logs". This afghan needs a name...anyone have a suggestion? It's 4 colors, 2 shades of blue, brown (sorta rusty brown), and a salmon color. The bright blue is the dominant color, as that's the one I have the most of in the stash.
The only thing I've come up with so far is Blue Horizon? Sorta makes me think of a bright blue sky over the blue ocean with the brown being sand? Speak up, always love group efforts to name some of our ghans.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

So far so good Sandy:+) I am liking the colors in this one. Blue Horizon is a beautiful name at this time of year especially. Heading into Daylight saving time tomorrow. Blue skies to last into the early evening. Spring is on the way. We are doing temps into the 50s this next week. Possible 60s in some parts of the state. Watching the Philadelphia garden show on TV this morning.Wishing blue horizons and warm days for everyone. God bless the homeless. Marj in Minnesota/37 degrees today
ReplyDeleteMarj, your temps are worth celebrating! We're melting some, and it's warmed up to 37 so far...that's pretty exciting to my way of thinking. Projection for next week is warmer...I do hope the weather folks are right. Thanks so much for your visits and your thoughtful comments...You are an awesome cheerleader!
ReplyDeleteBlue Horizon is a great name for the new afghan that you are working on. Marj, send those warmer temps across the Lake to MI! We are to get in the low 30's on Sunday, but 48 by Thurs. I am ready for the warmer weather.
ReplyDeleteReally like the name Blue Horizon. So glad temps. are getting warmer especially for the homeless. Hope this will post-last time I tried to comment, it wouldn't post.
