Our knitting and crocheting serves several purposes. It gives us who are blessed with a roof over our heads the ability to give back, a way to show our gratitude for what we have. It gives us the ability to physically warm someone in need, and it gives us the ability to give someone hope for a better tomorrow. Homemade items made from our hearts tell that cold homeless person, someone cares. Someone cares about you and that's pretty special.
Keep your yarn close folks, the need is great.

So pretty Diana Beautiful colors in your cloths. Looks like spring to me. The hat and scarf set is such a beautiful true red. Someone will love these colors. Warms the heart.

ReplyDeleteIt is in the 30's today, 40's on Monday and then more snow for Weds. Winter doesn't want to stop in MI. At least we will get rid of some of the snow before the next storm.
