Say Howdy to our newest pair of helping hands from the state of Texas. We're thrilled to have you join us and appreciate this thoughtful donation to keep Ohio's Homeless warm. She's asked to be anonymous (though I have her name...remember that's necessary). Though it's a long way from Rose season, as we have mounds of snow on the ground that I wonder when and if it will all melt.......the song Yellow Rose of Texas popped into my head as I posted this picture from our newest Texas contributor.
**Stay tuned for donations from: Sue F from Ohio.
Due to the holiday (editing this post on Presidents Day), I'm delayed a day picking up donations from the post office that arrived last week. So, if you mailed a donation last week and are wondering what happened, if it arrived etc....stay tuned for the next couple of days, please and thanks.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

WELCOME TO THE STATE OF TEXAS AND THIS GENEROUS GIVER. We are so happy that you hae joined our group, and your work is beautiful. I especially am drawn to the green one . We are buried here in Minnesota this morning. Snow storm brought us between 9/14 inches. Not even able to get out on the roads. Schools closed again. This has been a tough one. Hope you are all safe and have power. PRAYERS FOR THE HOMELESS.
ReplyDeleteThank you donor from Texas. Very pretty and warm looking scarves.
ReplyDeleteA big Welcome to the new person from Texas! Glad you found this great group. The scarves are very nice. They look so warm.
ReplyDeleteSorry Marj that you got more snow. We were to get more this afternoon here in MI, but didn't. The wind is very strong. It made driving hard at times.
