I love this shade of blue, crocheted and donated by our long time friend, Sandie P in Louisiana. I happen to know blue is also her favorite color. Sandie and I met years ago on line in Crochetville and worked on afghans for survivors of Katrina. When we finished that charity, we continued to stay connected with blogging and she jumped right in with donations when I first formed this group, Bridge and Beyond. Thank you Sandie for your long time friendship and wonderful support. It's very much appreciated.
Today is the last day of May and with tomorrow being the first day of June, our focus switches to slippers. Please check the slipper tab for necessary information regarding colors, sizes, fibers, stitches and suggestions for both knitting and crocheting slippers.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Beautiful blue scarf Sandie.Someone will be warm and cozy this fall and winter. I think there may be more to this,:+) but wanted to say that your work is going to be much appreciated when the time comes. GOOD JOB.
ReplyDeleteI love the color Sandie. Keep up the good work. We appreciate the donations you give to our central Ohio Homeless.
ReplyDeleteRight you are Marj, I had posted the picture to have it in que, and forgot to pop back and finish writing the post. Nicely said Sherry, we do indeed appreciate her helping central Ohio's Homeless.
ReplyDeleteHad to laugh Sandy, I knew that was not your usual post and recognized Sandie as a longtime friend of the homeless. Figured you would be back shortly to add a little more. Glad someone else is struggling with this remembering thing.:+))) God Bless.
ReplyDeleteHa! I don't need thanks or acknowledgement. I'm happy to help, but I have to admit it's cool to see my work here among all the other lovelies you receive. You are right - blue is my favorite color. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty blue scarf! Nice job Sandie.
