Homeless Must have Hats

Having a warm hat on your head is probably the single most important thing for a homeless person. A hat can keep the head dryer in rain and sleet, as well as warmer during the cold snowing months. A hat can keep someone alive when they live out in the elements.

Even our folks lucky enough to have a roof over their heads in temporary shelters benefit from hats, and thus they are needed in a variety of sizes and colors for adults, and children. Thank you Marie P for this thoughtful donation of 2 pairs of socks which are always needed and 6 hats.

Keep up the good work.

  4. I used to be very active in an online organization that donated hats and they disbanded. Finally I "think" I've found a group...thank you, thank you.

But I can't find an address to send the hats and other items too. But I've got a while, got to get busy and make some hats!! :)

Not sure how to update my profile either. I don't have a blog nor know much about blogging, guess I should learn.

Most important. Thank you for being here. Having a purpose and a goal in life, no matter how simple, gives one a reason to start the day. Now that I've found you, my day will start with joy. Again, thank you, thank you!!

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
