Thank you Sherry for your creative and colorful donation of 7 hats, 5 scarves, and congrats on your first pair of mittens! Some are well suited for men, others women. What a nice assortment of warm goodies for those in need. Keep up the good work Sherry.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Sherry, your donation is awesome, your work is beautiful and I can tell your hook has been FLYING!! Keep up the great work!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Sherry! Love the colors and the mittens came out nice.
ReplyDeleteSandy, on March 3 it should be 29 squares added to total not 20.
What a wonderful donation! Beautiful work! The mittens are fantastic...would love to know what pattern you used. I have yet to try a pair of mittens but I hope to give them a try sometime this week. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThanks all for the nice comments. I didn't realize how bright my hats and scarves were until I saw this picture! I will have to concentrate on dark solid colors next time around.
ReplyDelete@ Kim, I have a pattern that Annemarie and I have been using but it has a small amount of errors which between Annemarie and I we seemed to fix. It is a really easy pattern that I love after trying several different patterns. It is crocheted in one piece then the sides are sewn together. If you want a copy email a sherry.keever at yahoo.com
Kim, the mitten pattern is on our blog under the mitten tab. There are 2 versions one if from Bev's site, have forgotten the other off the top of my head.
ReplyDeleteSherry, stick with the colors you're using; these are so pretty! I think they will cheer people up while keeping them warm!
