Thank you Allyson G from the state of Louisiana for this thoughtful donation. 3 crocheted hats, 12 pairs of socks, scarf and wonderful personal care items. I love that you included lip balm. That's always sooooooooo appreciated. Being outdoors, being cold, it's awful hard not to have painful cracked lips. Allyson is our newest pair of helping hands. We thrilled to have you join us Allyson and hope to see you on Bridge and Beyond often.
February is slipper month folks, be sure and check out the patterns, tips and ideas on the slipper tab.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Hi Allyson and Welcome {waving}! Great crochet and colors! Looking at this picture with the socks rolled into pairs that way reminds me of how I fold socks for my family. It reminds me how I just take for granted something as simple as socks but how very important a pair of socks can be to someone who's cold. Your donation will make SUCH a difference - thanks.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Allyson. Your hats look so warm and thick. Someone will really appreciate them. Thanks for your help.
ReplyDeleteWelcome! The socks are such a great gift. The hats look nice and warm.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome!! It was a joy and a pleasure to crochet. We do tend to take lots of things for granted. This has truly opened my eyes at everyday items that I take for granted.
