This seems like it was only yesterday..............but it was really quite some time back. My DD had breakfast here with Santa. She loved to dress up all Christmasey, most little girls do. Lots of good memories from when she was young, and as she grew up; but this picture is one of my favorites so thought I'd share it with you. Bet you all have a similiar one of you, your children, or your grandchildren sitting on Santa's lap.
Merry Christmas to you all and many thanks for all you've done through out the year with your magical crochet hooks and knitting needles and looms. You've made hats, scarves, mittens, slippers, washcloths, and squares. You've sent rain ponchos and socks, you've donated yarn. You've blogged about our cause, tweeted about our cause, and facebooked about our cause. I hope you've chatted about what we do here with your friends, your neighbors and family who might not be on the internet. As the year winds down, let me express my Christmas wish for a continuation of the same, a Christmas wish for more helping hands, to grow our numbers of donated items and reach more people in need.
Blessings to you all, and please Keep up the Good Work.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

A blessed Christmas to everyone gathered under your roof.
ReplyDeleteSandy, most people say that Christmas is about giving. I am going to take this year - from you. I'm going to take your spirit of generosity and compassion for our fellow travelers and carry it with me through the year. I hope everyone reading your blog takes the same and passes it on - what a wonderful world it would be if we each and everyone TOOK your hope and love and gave it to everyone we know or even just see. Thank you for giving as you do - not only of your talent but of your love for your fellow humans. It is indeed a gift that you have given us and one I fully intend to use. Blessings of the Season to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteHave a Merry and Blessed Christmas!
