This is Day 25 for Jack Otis Memorial Month. If you've missed reading about, please click on his picture in the side bar.

Next month, Dec we're once again activating "Give a Square". Please read about it, also in the side bar before you make your squares. Sizes, colors, purpose etc all the info is there.

TIPS:
If you like to keep track of your donations, print the blog post where your's are highlighted.
Use double thickness when knitting or crocheting slippers for extra warmth and durability
Avoid white yarn for the dirt factor
Avoid lacy, open see through stitches and patterns. We're going for warmth and durability. If you can poke your finger through your stitches, try a smaller hook/needle and or different stitch.
Avoid tying a knot and cutting your yarn when you change colors or add new yarn, ALWAYS leave tails of several inches and work them into your work.

All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated, and all donations keep someone warm. We help, one stitch at a time. YOU truly DO make a difference. THANK YOU!

  1. Pat E., I can tell your needles have been flying! LOVE the little sweater! Your mittens are wonderful too. I am partial to mittens as I love to make them myself. There will be some warmer folks out there this winter because of your thoughtful efforts! THANKS!!

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
