The Face of Homelessness, Please Donate



Please turn your sound on. Share this with someone you know, share the knowledge about homelessness. I've got information forthcoming on this group of homeless families that I believe we'll be able to help. This video, is insightful. Even if, after obtaining information we're not able to help this particular group; I believe their video is relevant.

    You know that's a good question psmflowerlady, I need to find out. I know the video was local to hear in Columbus; but perhaps it is a national organization. I'll post that with additional information as I get it.

    My name is Karie and I am the Resident Support Manager with The Homeless Families Foundation. We are located @ 651 West Broad Street, 43215 about 1 mile west of downtown and this is our only location. We are celebrating our 25th Anniversary this year.

    Our mission is to provide shelter, support,stability and nurturing for homeless children and their families as they prepare to acquire permanent housing.

    We help 47 families at any one time. Each family that comes to us moves into their own apartment unit that is fully furnished. We provide case managment and also have a fantastic after school program for school aged chidren at The Dowd Center....

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name.
