This is day 13 of SOCK it to me Month. Hope you're telling all your non knitting and non crocheting friends. This is a perfect project for non yarn people to get involved and help.
Did you know you can print a pamphlet to post at school, at work, or perhaps the bulletin board at your church? It's available by clicking on the tab at the top of the blog. Please help us spread the word. Let's see how many new pairs of helping hands we can get. Remember the more people help, the more people we can help. Men, Women, and Children need us.
All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated, and all donations keep someone warm. We help, one stitch at a time. YOU truly DO make a difference. THANK YOU!

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Sandy, how do you put where you are from. I have donated mittens before and I'm from Michigan. I'm still learning a lot about blogging. I'm not even sure what you need to tell who we are when we send items. Do we put the email address that's on google,(even if that's not the email address we use). Or do we use blog address? I think me blog address is tagg44@blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteCan you tell I'm so confused... help lol
I love your blog and am so happy to see all the wonderful donations. Keep up the great work everybody.
Take care
Therese
Theresa, I've had you and your blog on the blog log, but just added Michigan. Look at the 2 lists in the sidebar. Names are alphabetical for both people with and without blogs. If I know the state someone's from it's listed with their name.
ReplyDeleteMichigan was already on the map. Just scroll to the bottom of the blog, you'll see the states colored coded and the number of states represented, as well as the percentage.
When you send a donation, if you just list your name Theresa from Michigan, and for those that don't have a blog an email ady. Then I'll be able to make contact. The problem I'm having is when no note comes with the donation, the return address says Mrs. George Smith, and I have no Mrs. Gr. Smith in my email address. I don't know a Mrs. Gr. Smith from any of my groups, I know someone perhaps my the nickname/avatar as suzyqmom. Likewise their email may be in my contacts as suzyqmomof4...I've no way of matching some folks up.
