Mission Statement

Our mission is to warm those in need through knitting, crocheting, looming and quilting. Our NEW hand made items provide hope to those living outdoors and those in temporary shelters. We provide for Men, Women, and Children in Central Ohio all year long. Specific details available by clicking item specific tabs, or the Who we Help Tab. Warm Crocheted Scarves for Homeless

crocheted scarves for homelessSuch a pretty blue. Two wonderful warm crocheted blue scarves from Patty. Thank you Patty! Patty is a fellow Ohioan, how cool is that. If anyone has Patty's email ady, please forward. I didn't get a note in her box of donations, can't find an email to send her a Thank You. I can see on the return label her name is Patty L. and she's from Ohio. These scarves are so well made and so very much appreciated Patty. You've made 2 people very happy, and very warm. Many thanks for your thoughtful donation.

The mitten challenge will end Nov 8th and a prize of free yarn will be awarded to the person making and donating the most mittens. That's not to say we don't need or want mittens other times. We do! Mittens, hats, scarves, and slippers.............and

HI SANDY That is indeed a lovely scarf and in my fav color You'd never know that by the color of the mittens i have neen knitting they are red but i finished number three pair today so i better cast on some blue ones my needles all want yarn on them all the time thats my reason(escuse) for having so many projects going

  2. Love the blue in this one - the Delft blue is it? Blue is my favorite color though I work with many different colors. Don't want to get in a rut. LOL

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
