Look at these fun colored knitted hats from Becky. Aren't they fun? The hats are made of re-cycled yarn. By that I mean, Becky takes apart old sweaters and re-cycles the fiber/yarn. Now, as she explains to me this can only be done if the sweater wasn't surged, (it's seams that is). Then she used Kool Aid to dye the yarn. She had fun with the process, is warming heads of those in need, and is recycling...that's what I call a Win, Win, Win situation!
Thanks bunches Becky for your donation. Been out of town and am trying to catch up a bit with documented donations.
We've got about a foot of snow on the ground right now folks, so all your hats, scarves, and mittens are doubly appreciated.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Kool-aid is a pain to try and get out of clothes so I would imagine it would work well as a dye. These hats are very nice. I love that they are repurposed sweaters!
