Give me a hook
And as least one skein
Don’t need a book
To begin the chain.
It might start from here
It might start from there
Our yarn makes warmth
With hats to wear.
Our yarn spreads love
To nameless faces
Our yarn is a gift
That goes many place.
We judge no one
By the lives they lead
Our yarn makes us humble
Humble indeed.
Thank you so much Jan for this very meaningful poem2010

I've never been able to write a poem, so really admire those who can. Nice poem and it seems so very appropriate.
