I can't believe how awesome people are. This is the first time I've truly followed a project like this. For anyone who thinks the world is a bad place, they should know the kindness that people (like the ones on this blog) share out of simple love and hope for a better future.
The hats, scarves, and mittens are truly beautiful.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Beautifully said! I wholeheartedly agree.
ReplyDeleteYou have a way with words. I do so enjoy looking at all the pretties.
ReplyDeleteI am not surprised how people are coming together. This is what we do when there is a need. We love what we do, that's why we do it. :)
ReplyDeletethree hats coming your way - sent out this morning, Sandy
ReplyDeleteVery well said...I couldn't resist joining you since you are so sweet. Just put two scarves in the mail this morning!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Thrilled to see more folks joining us. This need will continue, the weather is lousy for quite a while here in Central Ohio. I'm honored so many have chosen to help us warm these folks.
ReplyDeleteThis is an on going project, so please.........keep the needles and hooks flying, even after we reach our goal of 100.
Sandy
I so agree with you on this post, Sandy. There are a lot of good people in the world though we hear more about the bad ones. I find esp. crafters are so generous with their time and materials. Think of all the postage in mailing these out and the yarn that is purchased with only the thought of helping someone to stay warm and perhaps even live one more day.
ReplyDeleteSo well said Sandie!
